Team News: Jefferson Montero makes full Swansea City debut

Swansea manager Garry Monk hands Ecuadorian winger Jefferson Montero a full debut and has Jonjo Shelvey back from suspension for the Premier League visit of Leicester.

Swansea City manager Garry Monk has handed Jefferson Montero a full Premier League debut for this evening's visit of Leicester City.

The Ecuadorian has previously been used as a substitute in all eight of Swansea's games this season, but is promoted to the starting lineup tonight at the expense of Nathan Dyer on the right wing.

The hosts have Jonjo Shelvey back in central midfield at the Liberty Stadium after suspension, with Tom Carroll dropping to the bench for the first ever top-flight meeting between these two sides. Angel Rangel, a £10,000 signing from Spain in 2007, makes his 300th Swans appearance.

Nigel Pearson make four changes to his Foxes side, three in attacking areas in a bid to end a run of 204 minutes without an away goal. Riyad Mahrez, David Nugent and Jamie Vardy are recalled to the XI.

Dean Hammond is preferred to Esteban Cambiasso in a holding role which will allow the above trio freedom to get up in support of lone frontman Leonardo Ulloa, the scorer of Leicester's only away goal this season.

Swansea: Fabianski; Rangel, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor; Ki, Shelvey; Sigurdsson, Routledge, Montero; Bony
Subs: Tremmel, Bartley, Shephard, Carroll, Dyer, Emnes, Gomis

Leicester: Schmeichel; De Laet, Moore, Morgan, Konchesky; Mahrez, Drinkwater, Hammond; Vardy, Nugent, Ulloa
Subs: Smith, James, King, Schlupp, Cambiasso, Wasilewski, Wood
