Report: Michael Laudrup's Swansea City future in the balance

Michael Laudrup's position as manager of Swansea City is reportedly under threat, with some of the club's directors keen for him to leave before the end of the season.

Michael Laudrup's position as manager of Swansea City is reportedly under threat.

The Welsh outfit have won only one of their last 10 Premier League games, a run of results that has left them just two points clear of the relegation zone.

Despite guiding the Swans to their first ever major trophy 12 months ago, Laudrup has a strained relationship with chairman Huw Jenkins and has been tipped to leave the Liberty Stadium in the summer.

However, according to Sky Sports News, some of the club's directors do not want to wait until the end of the season to part with the Dane.

Laudrup has guided Swansea to 29 wins and 24 draws during his 84 games in charge.
