Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup not thinking about future

Michael Laudrup says that he is not thinking about his future at the Welsh outfit following rumours that he is nearing the exit door.

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has insisted that he is not considering his future at the Liberty Stadium.

It has been claimed that Laudrup could be close to leaving the Welsh outfit due to his relationship with chairman Huw Jenkins turning sour.

However, the 49-year-old has claimed that he is only thinking about Swansea's current situation - three points above the relegation zone in the Premier League table.

"It is not frustrating but with our situation I think no-one, no player nor manager, should think about next season, they should only think about this season for obvious reasons," BBC Sport quotes Laudrup as saying.

Laudrup was appointed as Brendan Rodgers's successor in 2012.
