Swansea City considering Aitor Karanka approach?

Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka is a target for the Swansea managerial position, according to a report.

Swansea City are reportedly considering a summer approach for Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka.

The Swans, who sacked Michael Laudrup last week, are interested in former Real Madrid assistant manager Karanka, according to SportsDirect News.

Garry Monk has taken charge of the League Cup holders, though chairman Huw Jenkins is said to be keeping an open mind with regards to a long-term boss.

Karanka was appointed Boro manager in November, with the club currently eight points off a playoff spot.
