Brendan Rodgers: "It was a harsh scoreline"

Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers believes that his side deserved more from their 3-1 loss at Tottenham Hotspur.

Brendan Rodgers believes that his side deserved more from their 3-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur earlier today.

The visiting Swans controlled large parts of the possession at White Hart Lane, but they were unable to turn their dominance into enough goals.

"It was a harsh scoreline, I think," Rodgers told Sky Sports News. "I am so proud of my players today.

"We've come to White Hart Lane but I thought for big parts we dominated. For the first 20 minutes we were very good but then conceded an unfortunate goal.

"In the second half we got back into it and got a deserved equaliser. We conceded our second from a corner that I didn't think was a corner."

The result has seen Swansea drop to 11th in the Premier League table.
