Michael Laudrup fears Michu absence

Swansea City attacker Michu may be out for "three to four weeks" with an ankle injury, according to his manager Michael Laudrup.

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has conceded that Michu could be out of action for "three to four weeks".

It was recently revealed that the Spanish attacker would miss two matches with an ankle injury.

However, speaking to reporters this afternoon, Laudrup claimed that the 27-year-old may not return until next month.

"Michu, our top scorer last season, has been struggling for a few weeks and is not 100% and unfortunately he is out again for maybe three to four weeks," said the Dane.

Michu joined Swansea from La Liga outfit Rayo Vallecano in 2012.
