Swansea City and Mark Gower are currently locked in talks over extending the midfielder's contract at the Liberty Stadium.
The 33-year-old's current deal is due to expire at the end of the season but manager Brendan Rodgers is reportedly ready to offer him a one-year extension.
Gower has been with the Welsh club since 2008 after he joined from League Two outfit Southend United.
He has since gone on to make over 100 appearances for the Swans, including six in the Premier League this season.
