Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs says that he has no interest in becoming the new Swansea City manager.

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs has claimed that he has no interest in going for the managerial vacancy at Swansea City.

The Welshman is still looking for his first break into management, despite leaving his assistant role at Old Trafford in 2016.

Giggs was initially in the running for for the position when Francesco Guidolin was sacked last year, but the Swansea bosses took a chance on American Bob Bradley, who lasted just two months in the role.

When asked by Sky Sports News if he would be interested in replacing recently-sacked Paul Clement at the Liberty Stadium, Giggs said: "No, I've already spoken to them before, last time before they appointed Bob Bradley.

"Over the years, it has been a well run club but it is tough now and it gets tougher every year. They lost good players in the summer, [Gylfi] Sigurdsson and [Fernando] Llorente, and haven't replaced them. That's the problem."

Clement was dismissed after guiding the Swans to just one win in their last 10 Premier League games, which has left the club bottom of the table, four points from safety.
