Garry Monk looks for Swansea City to continue Premier League form

Garry Monk wants his Swansea City side to continue from where they left off before the international break when they face Watford on Saturday.

Swansea City manager Garry Monk has said that he wants his side to pick up from where they left off before the international break when they travel to Watford on Saturday.

The Swans are unbeaten in their first four games of the Premier League season and beat Manchester United at the Liberty Stadium in their final match prior to the two-week break.

Monk, though, has warned that his side will face a tough examination at Vicarage Road against the newly-promoted Hornets.

"They won't fear us but we need to show what we're about. We will look to impose ourselves, we can stand up to the physical aspect of the game and we've shown we're a good team," Monk told Swansea's official website.

"But Watford are highly organised and they have a clear way of working. They have brought in a lot of players but they seem to have gelled quickly, which is great credit to the manager.

"They are playing with belief and I'm sure they will identify their home games as ones they can win. It will be a good atmosphere, they will try and make it difficult for us but if we can show the same focus and attitude that we have done so far then hopefully we can come away with the result we want."

Swansea sit fourth in the table after taking eight points so far.
