Swansea City defender Ben Davies admits that he is proud of his debut season at the club.

Swansea City defender Ben Davies has admitted that he is proud of how his debut season went for the Premier League club.

The 20-year-old got his chance in the Swans first team back in September following a serious ankle injury to Neil Taylor.

Davies went on to make a total of 44 appearances in all competitions as Swansea finished the campaign in ninth place in the table.

"I feel very proud when I look back on the last season, but I have to look forward now," he told the club's official website. "I've got to keep doing what I'm doing and become a better player."

Davies signed a new three-and-a-half-year contract with Swansea in November.
