Swansea City head coach Paul Clement says that both Renato Sanches and Wilfried Bony will remain out of contention for the Premier League game at Arsenal.

Swansea City head coach Paul Clement has revealed that Renato Sanches and Wilfried Bony will not feature against Arsenal on Saturday afternoon.

Bony has not played throughout October, while Sanches has made just one appearance this month due to a thigh injury, and Clement has said that he will have to make do without both summer signings for the trip to the Emirates Stadium.

The 45-year-old told reporters: "Wilfried is rehabbing, he is clear of injury but needs to get fitness up and it's a case of how long it takes.

"He will not be available for the weekend and we will see if he can be ready for Brighton at home. Renato is not available and next weekend will be a push for him too but he is showing signs of improvement."

Swansea head into the match sitting in 15th place in the Premier League table.
