Reading goalkeeper Jonathan Bond has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Sunderland.
Bond is approaching the end of his third campaign at the Madejski Stadium, but the 24-year-old has made just 14 appearances for the Royals in all competitions.
The stopper has spent the season on loan at Peterborough United - where he has featured on 42 occasions - and according to the Sunday People, Sunderland have taken notice of his form.
Bond is out of contract in the summer and is not expected to be offered fresh terms by Reading, and the former Watford man is seemingly regarded as an option for Chris Coleman regardless of whether the Black Cats avoid relegation to League One.
Sunderland currently sit five points adrift of safety in the Championship standings.
