Sunderland striker Connor Wickham has claimed that the club and its supporters must remain calm as the team fights to stay in the Premier League.
The Black Cats moved out of the relegation zone on Sunday thanks to an emphatic 4-0 win over fellow strugglers Cardiff City.
While Gus Poyet's side have given themselves a good chance of avoiding the drop, Wickham believes that there is still plenty of work for them to do.
"There's lot of hype now we're out of the bottom three," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "We're on cloud nine at the moment but need to stay level-headed."
Sunderland continue their campaign on Saturday with a trip to Manchester United.
