Alfred N'Diaye insists that he and his teammates have no problems with manager Paolo Di Canio at Sunderland.

Sunderland midfielder Alfred N'Diaye has insisted that he and his teammates are fully supportive of manager Paolo Di Canio, despite his recent strict rules.

The Italian boss has come under fire for issuing fines to players and publicly criticising a handful of his team for not meeting his standards in terms of professional behaviour.

Despite this, N'Diaye has claimed that there are no problems within the camp at the North-East outfit.

"I am in England, but I have an Italian manager, who is very similar to what I am used to from France," N'Diaye told The Journal. "His mentality is no different for me. It is more different for English players, but for me it is normal.

"The new manager has a new mentality. For me and everybody, it is not a problem. It is a new mentality, but we accept it. Next season, we will move forward together. We will play better and move forward."

Di Canio took over from sacked manager Martin O'Neill in March.
