Stoke City have reportedly moved to the brink of signing James McClean from West Bromwich Albion.
The Potters have been heavily linked with the winger since being relegated to the Championship, but the Baggies have remained firm regarding their asking price.
However, according to Sky Sports News, a deal is close to completion after McClean underwent a medical with Stoke earlier on Friday.
The Staffordshire-based outfit will pay in the region of £5m for the Northern Ireland international, who has spent the last three seasons at The Hawthorns.
McClean has scored a total of five goals in 112 appearances, and should a move to the bet365 Stadium be completed, the 29-year-old will represent his fourth club in English football after also spending time at Sunderland and Wigan Athletic.
