Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has revealed that Peter Odemwingie's move to the club should be completed on Monday.
Odemwingie will be one half of a player-exchange deal between Stoke and Cardiff City, with Kenwyne Jones going in the opposite direction.
"It should go through tomorrow (Monday) and will be concluded then. We're pleased to get Peter in," Hughes told reporters after his side's elimination from the FA Cup at the hands of Chelsea this afternoon.
"He's a good Premiership player with experience at this level, a goal in him and a bit of pace - which we need to add to the squad. [I'm] pleased to add him."
Odemwingie joined Cardiff in September of last year, making just 15 appearances for the club and scoring two goals.
