Kenwyne Jones criticises Tony Pulis's tactics

Kenwyne Jones criticises the tactics of former Stoke City boss Tony Pulis.

Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones has hit out at previous boss Tony Pulis for his "hit and hope" tactics.

The Potters have changed to a more expansive style under Mark Hughes this season and the Trinidad and Tobago striker is much happier.

He claims that the players can now express themselves.

"We are able to express ourselves and be free," Jones told reporters.

"Now we can try things as footballers and that's the only way to improve. You are not restricted to that regiment of 'sky' football.

"Before, it was more or less hit and hope, and I think my teammates could testify to that."

Stoke travel to Tranmere Rovers in the League Cup tomorrow.
