Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam has claimed that he unfairly "pushed" Valon Behrami out of the way in the lead-up to his side's winning goal over Watford on Sunday.
The Potters man headed Xherdan Shaqiri's corner onto the post before the ball rebounded off Hornets goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes and into the net.
The goal proved decisive in the Premier League clash at Vicarage Road as Stoke saw the game out and claimed a 1-0 win.
Asked if he was disappointed to see the goal awarded to Gomes, Adam told Sky Sports News: "Why? It was a goal. It was a foul really, I think I pushed [Behrami].
"But we'll take it. It's a great win and we'll go onto the Christmas period."
The result sees Stoke edge up to 10th place in the Premier League table.
