Report: St Mirren interested in Barry Ferguson

St Mirren are reportedly interested in appointing former Scottish international Barry Ferguson as their new manager.

Barry Ferguson has reportedly attracted interest from Scottish Premiership side St Mirren since leaving his post at Blackpool.

The club are looking for a new manager, having decided not to renew Danny Lennon's contract after four years in charge of the side.

According to Sky Sports News, St Mirren are considering appointing the former Scottish international, who helped Blackpool avoid relegation from the Championship this season.

St Mirren finished eighth in Scotland's top flight.
