St Mirren, Hibernian share spoils in goalless draw

St Mirren and Hibernian share the spoils in a 0-0 draw at St Mirren Park.

St Mirren and Hibernian shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw in this afternoon's Scottish Premiership clash.

Steven Thompson should have put the home side ahead just two minutes into the game, but he blasted the ball wide when one-on-one with Ben Williams.

Darren McGregor saw his goalbound effort cleared off the line by Lewis Stevenson in the 34th minute as the home side looked the likelier to open the scoring.

The best chance of the second half fell to Jason Naismith, but the defender dragged his shot wide from the edge of the box, as both sides went away with a point.
