Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas feels that their absence from next season's Champions League will not harm their ability to attract top players to the club.

Spurs missed out on qualification for next season's competition after they finished fifth in the Premier League.

The Portuguese coach feels that despite their absence from Europe's premier comeptiton, the club will still be able to lure the sufficient calibre of players to White Hart Lane.

"Tottenham is a wonderful club which continues to attract big players like we did this summer," Villas-Boas told the BBC.

"The market is extensive. You have talent everywhere in the world and you just have to be smart to get the best talent out."

Meanwhile, odds on Gareth Bale's chances of staying at the club next season have dropped.
