Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly held discussions over the signing of Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest.
Since joining the East Midlands outfit on a deal worth an initial £25m from Wolverhampton Wanderers, the 24-year-old has cemented himself as a key first-team star at the City Ground.
Gibbs-White has found the net on five occasions and provided 10 assists for the Tricky Trees in 36 Premier League over the course of the 2023-24 campaign.
The attacker shone once again in Forest's most recent game last weekend, when Nuno Espirito Santo's troops were ultimately defeated by Chelsea, although the former Wolves man managed to record two assists.
Earlier on in his career, Gibbs-White was a key part of England Under-21s side, however he is yet to receive his maiden call-up for Gareth Southgate's senior team.

Tottenham open talks ahead of Gibbs-White swoop?
According to Football Insider, Tottenham have taken the next steps on their quest to secure the services of Forest's Gibbs-White during the summer window.
The report claims that the Lilywhites have held discussions over a potential move for the 24-year-old, who could play his final match for the Tricky Trees on Sunday afternoon.
That being said, it is understood that Forest have slapped a hefty £60m price-tag on Gibbs-White, meaning that any potential suitors will be unable to sign the attacker for cheap.
After being inflicted with a four-point deduction from the Premier League this season for breaching Profit and Sustainability rules, Santo's side might need to sell some of their big assets to balance the books this summer.
Therefore, it is believed that Ange Postecoglou and Spurs are highly interested in the capture of the forward should Forest decide to sell their talisman ahead of next season.

Postecoglou looking for Spurs overhaul
Heading towards the final day of the Premier League campaign, it is highly probable that Postecoglou has guided Spurs to a fifth-placed finish, securing Europa League football.
A return to the continental stage is welcome - especially following a disastrous 2022-23 term - however the Lilywhites have missed major opportunities to steal the final Champions League spot from Aston Villa.
Postecoglou's charges have collected just three points from their last six top-flight contests, only earning a result versus Championship-bound Burnley on May 11.
The Australian has been highly critical of his players and the club in recent weeks, demanding a summer overhaul is carried out to the squad through the transfer market.
