Tottenham Hotspur are thought to have struck a deal with Juventus to sign striker Amauri.
Reports in Italy claim that the 31-year-old will move to White Hart Lane in January, in a deal that will result in the frontman pocketing £35,000 a week.
While Harry Redknapp's side are believed to have nabbed the forward, Amauri's agent Ernesto Bronzetti claimed at the weekend that a number of clubs are interested.
"The player is close to signing for an English club," Bronzetti is quoted as saying. "Genoa want him too, as do Palermo, but he would prefer to go to Spain or England.
"Of course, if a top Italian club were to make an offer, then it would be difficult to say no, and Napoli are one of them."
The Brazilian-born Italian signed for Juventus from Palermo three years ago for a fee in the region of £20m.
