Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly monitoring the situation involving AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.
The 24-year-old has arguably emerged as Milan's key man over the past 12 months, helping I Rossoneri to Champions League qualification during the last campaign.
However, the Ivory Coast international has less than a year remaining on his contract, a scenario which has inevitably attracted attention from elsewhere.
According to Calciomercato, Spurs may be prepared to offer Tanguy Ndombele in part-exchange during the January transfer window.
While the Premier League outfit could technically reach a pre-contract agreement with Kessie, club officials may prefer to engineer a deal where they can get Ndombele off their wage bill.
The 24-year-old, who has a contract until 2025, is yet to make a competitive outing under recently-appointed head coach Nuno Espirito Santo.
Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in Kessie.
