Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly decided to maintain their interest in Sheffield United midfielder David Brooks.
At the end of 2017, Spurs were linked with a move for the 20-year-old, who has impressed at Bramall Lane during the current Championship campaign.
Brooks has only scored twice in five starts and 14 substitute outings, but the youngster has already been rewarded for his form with two appearances for the Wales senior side.
According to The Sun, Spurs regard Brooks - who is used in the final third - as a potential long-term replacement for Harry Kane, who continues to attract attention from some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Mauricio Pochettino is allegedly happy to give the green light for Spurs to spend £10m plus add-ons for Brooks, who only penned a new long-term deal earlier this season.
