Report: Tottenham Hotspur leading £10m Breel Embolo chase

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly lead the chase for teenager Basel striker Breel Embolo.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in pole position to sign youngster Breel Embolo from FC Basel.

West Ham United and West Bromwich Albion were thought to be competing with Spurs for the teenager's services.

However, The Express claims that Lilywhites boss Mauricio Pochettino has sent scouts to watch the Swiss forward in action.

Spurs lost their opening Premier League game of the season after Kyle Walker's own goal saw the North London side beaten 1-0 by Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
