Real Madrid are reportedly hopeful of signing Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale within the next two weeks.

The La Liga giants want to add a new star name to their squad this summer and, after losing the race to land Barcelona-bound Neymar, Bale appears to be top of Real president Florentino Perez's wish-list.

Real are believed to have tabled a £60m bid for the 23-year-old, who scored 21 goals in 33 Premier League games last season.

According to the Daily Star, Los Blancos are willing to offer £130,000 per week to Bale but they are adamant that any deal must be completed by June 15.

Bale's current contract at White Hart Lane expires in June 2016.
