Real Madrid have reportedly set their sights on securing the signing of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen during the summer.
Eriksen has enjoyed an excellent spell at the North London outfit since joining in 2013, with 62 goals coming from 251 appearances in all competitions.
However, the 26-year-old has just 18 months remaining on his contract, and it has been suggested that there is a reluctance to pen fresh terms at this stage.
According to The Independent, that has only encouraged Madrid and the European champions are said to be prepared to spend £100m on the Dane at the end of the season.
The report suggests that Eriksen has always craved a chance to play for one of Spain's top two clubs at his peak, with the creator feeling that the time may be right to move to La Liga.
