Bale is the top scorer for Spurs this season with 16 Premier League goals, and the Spanish champions are ready to offer Spurs a fee that would be the biggest ever received for a player in Premier League history, according to The Mirror.

The 23-year-old has been in superb form for Spurs this season and Madrid think that the offer will be enough for chairman Daniel Levy to part with the club's star player.

Bale will be part of the Spurs side that will travel to Anfield to face Liverpool today.
