How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Fulham

Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Fulham for Wednesday's Premier League clash.

Tottenham Hotspur will be out to keep their Premier League title aspirations alive when they face Fulham on Wednesday evening.

The Lilywhites were originally scheduled to face Aston Villa in midweek, but a coronavirus outbreak in their opponents' camp put paid to that.

However, Fulham have a free midweek slot, meaning that this fixture - which was due to take place at the end of December - can now be staged instead.

Ahead of the London derby, Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham could line up.

Possible TOTXI vs FUL

Out: Giovani Lo Celso (hamstring)
Doubtful: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (shin)

The nasty-looking injury sustained by Hojbjerg against Brentford last week has been played down by Jose Mourinho and the midfielder is expected to feature against Fulham.

Mourinho has a decision to make in terms of who partners Hojbjerg - Moussa Sissoko, who has started the last two games, or Harry Winks, who was given the nod against Leeds United last time out in the league.

Toby Alderweireld was taken off at half time with Spurs 4-0 up against Marine in the FA Cup on Sunday, and he is likely to retain his spot as the only survivor from that match.

Influential attackers Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are among those that were left out against Marine, with both expected to slot back into the XI for this midweek match.
