Andre Villas-Boas satisfied with draw

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas insists that he will take the positives from this afternoon's goalless draw at Queens Park Rangers.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has insisted that he will look at the positives from this afternoon's 0-0 draw with Queens Park Rangers.

Spurs failed to score away from home for the first time this season at Loftus Road in a frustrating goalless draw.

Villas-Boas believes that Hoops keeper Julio Cesar deserves to take credit for denying Spurs on several occasions.

He told BBC Sport: "They defended very well, we wanted to play with a higher tempo but they frustrate you.

"Julio Cesar also had a great game. We had some big chances and in a game like this it's important to score first.

"It was a difficult game for us, but we got an away point so we are satisfied."

A hard-fought point puts Spurs two points clear of Chelsea in third place ahead of the Blues' trip to Stoke City this afternoon.
