Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning to offer manager Mauricio Pochettino a new contract.

The Argentine has had an impressive season at White Hart Lane as he has transformed the team into candidates for the Premier League title.

The North London club are currently second in the league table, five points behind leaders Leicester City with nine games left to play.

According to ESPN, Spurs' board have informed Pochettino that they want to open talks over a new deal once the season comes to an end in May.

The former Southampton boss has three-and-a-half years left to run on his current contract.
