Senior players at Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly becoming frustrated with Jose Mourinho's management style.

Senior players at Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly becoming frustrated with Jose Mourinho's tactics and believe that 'the team has regressed' since he replaced Mauricio Pochettino as head coach.

Saturday's goalless draw with Watford made it four league games without a win for Spurs, who are currently nine points off the top four in the Premier League table.

According to The Sun, the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager 'is facing growing unrest' at the club with several of the senior players currently unhappy under the Portuguese.

The report claims that Mourinho's outdated training sessions and long-ball tactics during matches have not been well received by the squad.

Meanwhile, it is also alleged that a number of players are unhappy with their manager's treatment of Tanguy Ndombele, who has been criticised by the Portuguese amid his recent injury problems.

Lucas Moura has been used as a centre-forward for Tottenham in recent matches with leading scorer Harry Kane out until at least April following hamstring surgery.

The London outfit continue to be linked with a move for a new striker, although Mourinho said after Saturday's clash with Watford that the club would not be forced into the transfer market.
