Tottenham Hotspur head coach Tim Sherwood has admitted that he has no knowledge on whether recently-sacked David Moyes could take over at White Hart Lane.
The Scotsman is out of work after the Red Devils opted to cut ties with him on Tuesday, after less than 10 months in the role.
After the dismissal, reports emerged claiming that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is considering Moyes as an option this summer.
When asked about the rumours, Sherwood told reporters: "I don't know. People keep throwing names at the job, I don't hire and fire people here.
"It's a shame he wasn't given the time [at United]. You need time to make imprint on the team, it's a tough job to replace Sir Alex Ferguson. He is one of the hardest working guys."
Sherwood is expected to vacate his role at the end of the season after he took over from Andre Villas-Boas in December.
