Harry Redknapp believes that Ledley King's comeback has been amazing.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has said that Ledley King's comeback this season has been nothing short of amazing.

The club, who told King that he had to make at least 20 appearances in the 2011/12 campaign if he wanted a new deal, have not lost a single game that the defender has taken part in this season.

Speaking ahead of his side's game against Bolton, Redknapp praised the injury-plagued 31-year-old.

"Ledley would have been as good as anyone in the world if he hadn't had all those injuries," Redknapp told reporters.

"A few years ago it looked like he was going to retire but the way he has come back this season has just been amazing. It's no coincidence that we haven't lost a single match he's played for us this season.

"He reads the game so well, he's always in the right place and he gives the whole team an air of confidence. We've won nine of our last ten games in the league and the one game we drew in that run was when Ledley had to come off injured at Newcastle."

Tottenham will look to extend their unbeaten run at home against Bolton this weekend.
