The Football Association are believed to be willing to wait until the end of the season to approach Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp over the vacant managerial position at the English national team.
The Spurs manager is the favourite to succeed Fabio Capello, who resigned as the Three Lions head coach last week.
It is understood that the former Portsmouth boss will make a decision regarding England in the summer and the FA have agreed to wait for Redknapp, according to the Daily Mail.
The governing body have reportedly informed the North London club that they will consult Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy once the Premier League season is over.
