Stoke City striker Peter Crouch reveals that he has no regrets of joining the club from Tottenham Hotspur.

Peter Crouch has revealed that he has "no regrets" over leaving Tottenham Hotspur to join Stoke City in August.

The England international will come up against his former employers at the Britannia Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

Ahead of the fixture, the striker has said that he moved to the Potters because he did not want to be a regular substitute.

"No regrets at all. There is a real buzz around here. I love the feeling of being part of something special which is what is going on at Stoke," the 30-year-old told The Sun.

"There's something special going on at Spurs too, but they brought in Emmanuel Adebayor and I knew my chances would be limited and I'd be watching from the bench. As good as they are to watch, I'm not one for that.

"I want to play and be at a place where I feel wanted. The boss was dying to get me here and I felt the club was going in the right direction."

Stoke paid £10m for Crouch, which could rise to £12m depending on a series of clauses.
