Etienne Capoue has claimed that his move to Watford has given him more freedom on the pitch than during his time with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Frenchman struggled to embed himself in the starting lineup in his two years at White Hart Lane following a £9m move from Toulouse.
As a result, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino allowed the 27-year-old to leave the club in the summer to join the Hornets in a £6m deal.
Capoue has played in every Premier League match for Watford this season, and the Frenchman has admitted that he is loving life at the club under Quique Flores.
He is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News: "I play maybe more freely than at Tottenham. The manager said to me, try to take the ball, to manage the game.
"I love my job and I do everything on the pitch. I have the confidence of the coach and the players, so I try to enjoy it on the pitch."
Watford face Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday.
