Danny Rose in contention for return against Crystal Palace

Danny Rose could make his return from a rib injury in Tottenham's Premier League match with Crystal Palace, but Vlad Chiriches and Kyle Naughton face late fitness tests.

Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that Danny Rose could make his return from injury in Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League match with Crystal Palace.

The left-back has missed Spurs' last four matches with a rib problem, but may be in the squad for Palace's visit to White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.

Ben Davies - a £12m summer signing from Swansea City - has deputised in Rose's absence and could maintain his place even if the former Sunderland loanee is available.

Pochettino added that right-back options Vlad Chiriches and Kyle Naughton will undergo late fitness tests, with Eric Dier on standby to fill in should neither make it.

Etienne Capoue, who has been sidelined for Tottenham's last four games, is back in contention, but Andros Townsend and Emmanuel Adebayor will not feature in the London derby.
