Team News: Roberto Soldado starts for Tottenham Hotspur

Roberto Soldado starts for Tottenham Hotspur in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Tim Sherwood has handed a start to Spanish striker Roberto Soldado for the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

The Spurs boss has made changes to the side that thrashed Newcastle United last time out, with Brad Friedel replacing Hugo Lloris in goal and Kyle Naughton coming in at the expense of Kyle Walker.

Nabil Bentaleb, Etienne Capoue and Paulinho start in the middle of midfield, while wingers Aaron Lennon and Moussa Dembele drop out of the side to be replaced by Andros Townsend and Nacer Chadli.

Striker Emmanuel Adebayor has been left out of the squad, but Christian Eriksen has been named among the substitutes.

Tottenham: Friedel; Naughton, Dawson, Vertonghen, Rose; Bentaleb, Capoue, Paulinho; Chadli, Soldado, Townsend

Dnipro: Boyko; Mazuch, Strinic, Fedetskiy, Kankava; Guiliano, Ceberyachko, Rotan; Matheus, Konoplyanka, Zozulyja
