Vicente del Bosque hints at long-term Spain stay

Vicente del Bosque says that he has not yet decided if he will leave his role as Spain coach at the end of the 2014 World Cup finals.

Vicente del Bosque has hinted that he could stay on as the Spain coach beyond the end of the 2014 World Cup finals.

The former Real Madrid boss had earlier said that he will step down from his current role after the event in Brazil.

"It is not certain that I will leave after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil," he told reporters on Monday.

"If we get to 2014, to the World Cup, we intend to defend the title we won in South Africa and from there, in June or July 2014, we will talk."

Del Bosque led Spain to World Cup triumph in 2010 and the European Championships in 2012.
