Paco Alcacer has revealed his pride at being part of the Spain squad for the Euro 2016 qualifier against Macedonia on Monday evening.
The Valencia striker made his international debut in the 1-0 friendly defeat to France last week and has been tipped to start tonight's match in Valencia.
"For me it's an honour to play for Spain and be with the squad here in Valencia," he told AS.
"I don't know if I'm going to play. It's up to the Coach to decide. Before there was me and Diego Costa but circumstances meant Diego had to leave [after suffering an injury].
"But there are a lot of players here who can do well in front of goal."
Barcelona's Munir El-Haddadi is also pushing for the starting role in attack.
