Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino reiterates "intention" to keep Luke Shaw

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino reiterates that he wants to keep hold of left-back Luke Shaw.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has reiterated that he wants to keep hold of left-back Luke Shaw, who has been the subject of transfer speculation throughout the season.

The 18-year-old, who received his first senior call-up to the England squad this week, has been linked to Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.

"That's clearly our intention - we want to keep hold of our young players, such as Luke Shaw," Pochettino told reporters. "We want to keep hold of our young, talented players, and that's our intention for the future."

Shaw could feature in the Three Lions' friendly against Denmark next Wednesday.
