Fraser Forster back in action for Southampton Under-21s

Fraser Forster plays the full 90 minutes for Southampton's Under-21s in his first appearance since suffering a serious knee injury last March.

Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster made his return to action this evening for the club's Under-21s after almost 10 months out with a knee injury.

The England international has been sidelined since having patellar tendon knee surgery last March.

He was initially expected to be sidelined for 12 months, but made his return to action and kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 win over Chelsea in the Under-21 Premier League Cup.

Forster started all 30 of Southampton's Premier League games last season following a move from Celtic before suffering the injury.
