Reading's leading goalscorer Nick Blackman is reportedly heading for transfer talks with fellow Championship side Sheffield Wednesday.

Reading have reportedly accepted an undisclosed offer from Sheffield Wednesday for their leading goalscorer Nick Blackman.

The 26-year-old is out of contract with the Berkshire-based club in the summer, when he will become a free agent.

As a result, the Royals have decided to cash in on the attacker, who will now hold discussions with Wednesday boss Carlos Carvalhal over a potential move to Hillsborough, according to Sky Sports News.

The former Sheffield United frontman has found the net on 11 occasions this season.
