Stevie May "delighted" to have joined Sheffield Wednesday

New Shefield Wednesday signing Stevie May says that he is "delighted" to have joined the club from St Johnstone.

Stevie May has admitted that he "cannot wait to get started" at Sheffield Wednesday after joining the club from St Johnstone.

The 21-year-old, who scored 67 goals in 118 appearances in the Scottish Premiership, penned a four-year deal at Hillsborough earlier today.

May took to Twitter to post: "Delighted to say I have signed a 4 year deal with Sheffield Wednesday. Can't wait to get started #massive."

Wednesday got their Championship campaign off to a winning start this afternoon with a 1-0 victory against Brighton & Hove Albion.
