Former Rangers manager Dick Advocaat has agreed to take charge of the Serbian national side.
The 66-year-old has been out of work since he left Eredivisie outfit AZ Alkmaar earlier this year.
However, according to Tomislav Karadzic, who is the president of the Serbian Football Federation, Advocaat will be installed as the country's new head coach later this week.
Advocaat has previous experience of international football, having coached his native Netherlands as well as South Korea and Russia.
