Seattle Sounders have completed the signing of Nigerian defender Onyekachi Apam.
The 27-year-old had been a free agent ever since he was released by Rennes back in January.
"Onyekachi brings vast experience from French Ligue 1 and the Nigerian national team. He is a versatile defender who can play central or wide and has the ability to start our attack from the back as well," said Seattle's sporting director Chris Henderson.
Apam has made 14 appearances for Nigeria and was a part of the squad that won a silver medal at the Olympics Games in Beijing six years ago.
