Preview: Schalke 04 vs. Arsenal

Sports Mole looks ahead to Tuesday's Champions League clash between Arsenal and Schalke in Germany.

Arsenal travel to Germany to face Schalke 04 in the Champions League group stage on Tuesday having been thoroughly outclassed by their opponents at the Emirates Stadium two weeks ago.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Ibrahim Afellay got the goals as the Gunners slumped to their first defeat in this season's competition.

Arsene Wenger's men have enjoyed two wins and one loss in all competitions since then, while Schalke suffered a rare league defeat on Saturday when they went down 3-2 at Hoffenheim.

The hosts have no fresh injury concerns ahead of the match and will expect Huntelaar, Afellay and Jefferson Farfan to lead their attack.

Vito Mannone should start in goal for Arsenal as Wojciech Szczesny remains sidelined through injury. Jack Wilshere should also keep his place in the side following his recent return from injury and Theo Walcott may be handed a place in the team.
