Theo Walcott recovers from his illness to start for Arsenal against Schalke in Germany tonight.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has decided to deploy forward Theo Walcott in his starting lineup against Schalke tonight.

Walcott has recovered from an illness, but midfielder Aaron Ramsey misses out after picking up an injury against Manchester United on Saturday.

However, defender Andre Santos has been dropped from the Arsenal team that will be keen to win against the German side in their Champions League Group B clash tonight.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar continues to lead Schalke's attack.

Schalke: Unnerstall; Uchida, Howedes, Matip, Fuchs; Jones, Neustadter; Farfan, Holtby, Afellay; Huntelaar
